RPM Project Objectives

PRM Lawson will be implemented in three phases:

Phase I: Tune Up Objectives:

  • Convert Employee ID Number to DPS ID Number
  • Re-deploy SEA via Lawson Portal (All)
  • Upgrade to LSF9
  • Deploy Portal for Power Users
  • Roll Out Role-based Security
  • Conduct Analysis to Support Identity Management Project
  • Implement Training Administration Module for Pilot Group

Phase II: Engine Diagnostics

  • Identify processes to automate and improve
  • Identify improved data storage methods to help Colorado Department of Education Reporting
  • Review best practices and determine how to increase utilization of Lawson products and decrease modifications

Phase III: Engine Overhaul

  • Upgrade Lawson system to version 9.0
  • Implement Position Management and Absence Management
  • Reduce modifications to Lawson system
  • Implement best practices identified during Engine Diagnostics phase
