Paid Time Off:
Denver Public Schools offer a very generous paid time off program. The total amount of sick, vacation and personal days varies depending upon employee group classification. Check with your Recruiter to inquire about the specific amount for the position in which you are applying.
Most employee groups are eligible to participate in the Sick Leave Bank. The purpose of the bank is to provide eligible employees who have exhausted all of their sick leave the means of obtaining additional sick leave days. This allows employees the medically necessary time to be restored to health so they may return to work with the District.
