Denver Public Schools has developed a market based compensation program consisting of base salary and performance incentives. This includes:
- Market-driven salaries based on the competitive external market segment in which we compete for talent and the internal value of each job.
- Incentive pay for licensed school-based personnel, school leaders and district-level senior management, which is structured to reward performance focused on student achievement growth and school improvement.
Our goal is to compensate competitively while also retaining internal pay equity.
