2013-14 Open Enrollment Central

DPS Benefits Open Enrollment – April 29 – May 27, 2013

During Open Enrollment you can:

Enroll in a DPS benefit plan
Change from one plan to another or drop plan coverage
Enroll eligible family members in your benefit plan
Continue under the same coverage level
Enroll or re-enroll in a healthcare, dependent care or health savings account (If you are currently enrolled in a healthcare, dependent care or health savings account, you MUST re-enroll in these plans for 2013-2014 expenses.)
Change your premium deduction option from pre-tax to after- tax (important for employees within 3-4 years of retirement from PERA)

Remember, Open Enrollment is your once-a-year opportunity to make changes to your benefits for the new plan year, effective July 1, 2013.

What’s Changed for this Plan Year 2013-2014

Employees enrolled in Cigna High, Kaiser Low and High will need to re-enroll in a new 2013-2014 medical plan
Cigna High HMO plan has been eliminated Cigna Low HMO premiums will increase
Cigna POS Open Access has plan design changes and premiums will increase
Cigna CDHP plan has a substantial premium decrease Kaiser High and Kaiser Low replaced by a new Kaiser DHMO plan
Kaiser CDHP premiums will increase 2013-2014 Benefit premium rates
