Teacher Forms for the 2012 -2013 school year are available online from January 19 – February 1, 2012. Teachers who wish to request, return from, or extend their leave (general-study-travel-research-charter); change their status; resign; or move to part-time should use this link. Early Notification of Retirement Stipend: Any teacher or principal who is eligible for retirement and submits a retirement request effective the end of the school year for action by the Board at its April legislative meeting are eligible for a severance pay stipend of $1,200 payable at the time of retirement. Paraprofessional Educational Trust Fund
An educational trust fund was established in the Agreement between the Denver Federation for Paraprofessionals and the Denver Public Schools. Interest earned from the $300,000 Trust Fund is used to pay tuition and related expenses for selected paraprofessionals enrolled in an accredited college program leading to certification as a teacher.
